We're Hiring

What We’re Looking For:

• A tattoo artist with a strong or promising portfolio.
• Special consideration for artists specializing in black and grey realism or portrait work, though we welcome any style that showcases your skill and creativity.
• Someone who is good with people, values being trauma-informed, is organized, and thrives in a team setting.
• Walk-ins are rare, so we’re looking for someone who already has an established clientele to bring into the studio.

What We Provide:

We want you to focus on your art, so we provide most of the essentials, including:

• Ink caps, rubber bands, 3M Transpore medical tape, green soap, alcohol, distilled water, glycerin, plastic wrap, lanolin-free A&D ointment, stencil paper, paper towels, disposable razors, drape sheets, pillows, massage tables, armrests, clip cord covers, bottle covers, barrier film, and second skin.
• Small, medium, and large nitrile gloves (let us know in advance if you need specific supplies!).

What You’ll Bring:

• Inks.
• Machines, power units, cords, needles, disposable tubes and cartridges.
• Personal art supplies, promotional materials, and business cards.
• Furniture: We can discuss what’s needed and how we can collaborate on that.

Perks of the Job:

• Commission-based pay starting at 60%. (We do not offer booth rental.)
• Opportunities to work at events such as fundraisers, flash events, weddings, parties, and conventions.
• A supportive, professional team and a clean, well-equipped studio.

Location:

Our studio is conveniently located across Broadway Street from Fred Meyers in Portland. Parking is stress-free, with two-hour spots nearby and plenty of unlimited street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
