Derek draws inspiration from classic tattoo styles, comic books, and fantasy art—think Dungeons & Dragons with a solid linework twist. Before stepping into the tattoo world, he spent years in the coffee industry and built a personal collection of tattoos that eventually pulled him toward the craft.

His tattoo journey started casually, sketching on friends with Sharpies, a habit he still keeps close. These days, he brings that same playful energy to his work in the shop.

When he’s not tattooing, you’ll find Derek at live shows, watching movies, or deep in a game night. He shares life with his wife Eddie, their dog Roxanne, and two cats, Colby and Albus. He’s known for his quick humor, kind heart, and the kind of storytelling that makes people feel right at home.




